Our mission is simple and ambitious: to change and disrupt the experience of temporary work.

Side is building the best flexible work platform allowing the fastest growing companies to select and work with great candidates vetted by Side. Every month, thousands of candidates and companies - like Sephora, Levi's, Etam, E.Leclerc - are using Side on regular bases for short term or temporary work.

Since our launch over 3 years ago, we have grown fast and are now managing thousands of tasks every month in France. We are based in Paris and operate also in Lyon, Lille, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes. We are opening new cities every month to bring Side to as many people as possible. We are now 70+ in the team and are looking for talented and ambitious people to help us grow fast and take care of our Siders and companies.

We have raised a total of 6.3M in Seeds and Series A funding. We are supported by Connect Ventures (UK investors in Citymapper, Typeform), Xavier Niel (Free), Jacques-Antoine Granjon (Vente-Privée), Aglaé Ventures (French investors in Spotify, Airbnb), Fly Ventures (German investors), The Family and outstanding Business Angels.

Job Description


Become a trusted partner to the Head of Talent and co-founders on all hiring aspects, to help Side reach its next growth phase and ambitious goals.
Relying on the company culture, co-founders’ vision and managers’ goals, you are the owner of the hiring process and best practices from sourcing to onboarding. Your main mission is to scale the team from 70 to 160+ in a year, with high degree of excellence and making sure every newcomer will love her/his job everyday.


  • Source and recruit international top talents designing a strong recruitment process, scaling the team from 70 to 160+ talents in a year with a specific focus on Tech & Product
  • Source and hire key people and managers to build fast on strong foundations
  • Manage the pipeline of candidates and work on every acquisition channels, building the employer brand for better inbound or relying on the current team network for good referrals
  • Make sure we are financially aligned with the HR budget of the Business Plan
  • Insure a low 4-month failure rate making sure the candidates match perfectly - skills and fit - with the scorecard and teams’ needs

Preferred Experience

Who you are

  • > 2-3 years in a challenging recruitment role or in a HR department of an organization of at least 50 people
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, very operational and process oriented, in love with new challenges to tackle
  • Extremely business-oriented, working closely with managers to understand precisely their needs and challenge them
  • Fully aligned with Side values and co-founders’ vision and strategy
  • You're a native French speaker, but also comfortable in English
  • You want to go big, and contribute not only to a company growth, but be part of a fundamental change in the way people work
  • Experience recruiting A-players in Product & Tech roles is a must

Recruitment Process

1/ Discovery Interview : a 15-minute videocall to introduce ourselves
2/ Behavioral Interview : physical interview in our office to deepdive into your past experiences
3/ Projection Interview : physical interview in our office to share with you the tipical Side journey and see how you would evolve on your subjects thanks to different adapted use cases
4/ Cultural Interview : physical interview in our office to share with you Side ambition, vision and values
