Every month, thousands of freelancers and companies - like Sephora, Levi's, Etam, E.Leclerc - are using Side on regular bases for short term or temporary work.

Since our launch over 3 years ago, we have grown fast and are now managing thousands of tasks every month in France. We are based in Paris and operate also in Lyon, Lille, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille. We are expanding into new cities to conquer new industries and job categories in the next 12 months. We are now 40+ in the team and are looking for talented and ambitious people to help us grow fast and take care of our Siders and companies.

What you will do

What you will do
Side is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in the heart of Paris.
Using your 3+ years experience in various technical roles, you’ll help the whole engineering team to build bulletproof cutting edge web-services and mobile applications.
You'll bring consistency and reliability to Side's products and propose an outstanding experience to thousands of freelancers eager to work differently, day after day.

Work with our CTO and Lead Dev to:

In the short-term:

  • Discover and be at ease with the existing microservices architecture as well as the technologies we are using
  • Implement first human processes that'll help to review major releases
  • Educate team members about QA best practices they can start using

In the medium-term:

  • Implement internal tools and processes that'll enable the engineering team to deliver more reliable software faster
  • Automate release cycles to reduce human errors and improve velocity
  • Create a general and virtuous workflow where errors are detected and corrected with efficiency

What we are looking for

What we are looking for

Must-haves:

  • Former technical role(s) - For 3+ years
  • Efficiency with technical tools and environment: Git, Dev / Staging / Prod, test automation, test systems
  • Ability to write and check technical specifications in details
  • Ability to build [engineering] processes and workflows
  • Ability to measure your impact and debrief

Bonus skills:

  • Knowledge of our internal tools: Asana, Gitlab
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of our stack: Docker, Golang, Node, MongoDB, React, Swift, Java/Kotlin
